In the rubber mould parts industry, the production process becomes more and more automated. At LWB, we offer our customers an experienced team of engineers to provide advice from the concepts to realizations. Together, with qualified mould makers, we offer you turn-key production units. Consultation in engineering process plays a leading role hereby.
Depending on the required products, part-automatization can be an economic solution. We have a wide range of automatization modules available for you. For each press size we have systems available to take off the sprue. With the help of the modular construction, gripping plates and individual grippers can be used for taking off the sprue.
Either a hydraulically or electrically driven platen moving system can move the article plates completely out of the mould area. Off the press, the de-moulding is done either manually or automatically, and if necessary the charging of insertion parts takes place. With the help of a double platen changing\ moving system, two center plates can be moved simultaneously. This way de-moulding and charging can be implemented parallel to the heating cycle and therefore very short cycle times can be achieved.
When a complete automatization is applied, the entire production process (the question of taking off the sprue, the use of either hot or cold channel systems, the number of cavities and as a result the size of the press) should be taken into the consideration of time. A production concept, with a smaller press, can be an economic solution in every case. LWB makes a concept for the according automatization unit and produces it. Depending on the degree of automatization and the necessity of a complex periphery, we also work together with specialists for automatization.
